SCOPSIS was honored to attend the 2025 Tax Stamp & Traceability Forum, held this week in Cape Town, South Africa. The event brought together over 300 government officials, industry leaders, and solution providers from nearly 50 countries, all committed to advancing secure and transparent supply chains.

Representing the Lebanese delegation were Mohamad Ali Ahmad (Vice President) and Ali Yassine (Technical Director) from SCOPSIS, joined by Mr. Wael Dargham, Finance Director, and Eng. Paul Ghanimeh, Head of Manufacturing, from Regie Libanaise des Tabacs et Tombacs.

During a key panel session, Eng. Ghanimeh shared Lebanon’s ongoing experience in implementing a national digital tax stamp system. His presentation shed light on the country’s progress in tackling illicit trade, addressing operational challenges, and laying the groundwork for stronger regional cooperation in traceability.

The forum featured discussions on cutting-edge traceability technologies across industries—ranging from tobacco and alcohol to metals, electronics, and vapes. Attendees explored how digital solutions are helping governments strengthen regulatory compliance, safeguard public revenues, and modernize supply chain oversight.

SCOPSIS is proud to be part of this global dialogue and remains committed to supporting public institutions with scalable, secure, and future-ready traceability solutions.

We extend our gratitude to Reconnaissance International for organizing this impactful event and look forward to continuing the conversation at the next forum in Madrid in 2027.
